Introductions

Ferry from Wilgenburg

Since January 2009 I train with a lot of fun in Aikido Yuishinkai Alkmaar. Until then, my attitude to exercise is aimed at "the fastest, the best and fittest to be. That was hard for myself and (therefore) hard for the opponent. What a discovery that it is not looking for a confrontation much more natural and beautiful. Mee-go-go instead of against, instead of confronting his lead in Ki-Aikido principles much further and much deeper than simple sporting experience, it will slow my lifestyle. I am honored to chair the association may be!

Stephan Bouman

My interest in Aikido developed around 1998. I bought a book of Ki-Aikido and could direct me in that way of life found. But first there were other projects on my path, so I made other choices. In 2004 I attended a Reiki course which my consciousness and took a bird's-eye sensitivity. In 2007, thanks to internet search engines, I could find lots of info about the versatility and the different currents. Still, I login to the site of Aikido Yuishinkai and spoke to me the way described here was learned and become the most. In 2008 I decided that I wanted to learn Aikido, so I did a trial lesson and I felt directly connected by the good atmosphere that was there. Since that time I train and teach with great enthusiasm and I won the 3 kyu. Each training is another gift thanks to the sensei's and uke's awareness in the learning process and the interaction of body and mind would greatly assist.

I have been practicing Aikido since 2007 and won in November 2010 my 4th kyu achieved. I am in 2010 became the treasurer of the association. Aikido brings to me in an active way the balance back into the hectic life.

After a few years to have trained in Aikikai Aikido Amsterdam, I am now again since 2006 on the mat Aikido Yuishinkai Alkmaar and 3 kyu there. Aikikai was quite hard and I myself am also quite hard to work hard and do my best. Yuishinkai Aikido continues to surprise me with all the tranquility, softness and subtlety in natural Ki. I can already hard, now I learn soft. It is a discovery for me, every time!

David Alvarez

In 2005 I came into contact with Aikido, after the trial lesson I'm totally excited. Meanwhile I have my 3 rd kyu achieved. Aikido Yuishinkai speaks to me especially because it is not hard, aggressive, and no competition. Our goal is to mind and body into harmony, and this we can also practice in daily life. Practicing and working on energy gives us every time new discoveries and giving us the desire to continue. Therefore Aikido is a part of my life, and I became a part of Aikido.

At my work I saw a flyer that Maruyama Sensei and Danny were on. There was a nice throw to see where Martin flew through the air. I took that action as well and wondered if I too could learn. Thus began my fascination with Aikido and I am going more in depth. In 2008 I actually started in November 2010 and won the 3rd kyu achieved.

I practice Aikido is an art to develop myself. For me there is still much to learn about the meaning "Harmony with yourself and surroundings".
